WORSHIP

Our worship services are at the core of all we do at Saint Mary’s. Our clergy and parishioners work together to deliver a spiritually fulfilling experience each and every Sunday morning at both our 8:00 am and 10:00 am services.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

The 8:00 am and 10:00 am worship opportunities are Celebrations of the Holy Eucharist.

8:00 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite One. 1979 Book of Common Prayer. This worship service is identified as traditional, quiet, contemplative and peaceful. There is a homily but no music.

10:00 am – Holy Eucharist, Rite Two. 1979 Book of Common Prayer. We are known for our blended liturgy at Saint Mary’s. This “Christ-Centered, Family-Friendly” worship offers the best in traditional hymnody and contemporary praise music accompanied by organ, piano and guitar. Sermons that are scripturally-sound and real-life based are a highlight of worship. The congregation is joined at the time of Holy Communion by the Sunday School and Youth Ministry so that family is gathered at the family meal.

5:30 pm – Caritas. In conjunction with the reconstituted Pastoral Care Team, a new monthly Sunday night service begins at 5:30 pm. “Caritas” a biblical word which means grace or gift, will have as its focus the intercessory prayers of the people. “Caritas” is a casual non-communion service supported by the music ministry of Jacob Merrett.  “Caritas” is offered on the first Sunday of the month. Bring a friend and your prayers!  If you cannot attend, please send your prayer requests to Dawn Head at head.debradawn@gmail.com.
